Job Title: Web Designer (Remote)

Digital Roots Media is seeking an experienced Web Designer to join our remote team. The ideal candidate should be able to work independently as well as collaboratively with other team members to design and develop visually appealing and user-friendly websites that meet client requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Create and design user-friendly websites that effectively communicate the client’s brand and message
• Collaborate with clients and team members to understand project requirements and develop creative solutions
• Develop website mockups, wireframes, and prototypes to showcase design ideas
• Ensure website design is optimized for all devices and platforms
• Work with developers to ensure proper implementation of website design
• Stay up-to-date with emerging design trends and technologies

Requirements:

• Proven work experience as a Web Designer, with a strong portfolio of past work to demonstrate your skills
• Proficiency in web design software such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Sketch, or similar tools
• Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Experience with responsive design and designing for various devices and platforms
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with team members and clients
• Experience working remotely is preferred

We are looking for a creative and experienced UI/UX Designer to join our team. As a UI/UX Designer, you will be responsible for designing user-centered digital experiences that meet our clients’ business objectives.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business objectives and user needs
• Conduct user research and create user personas and user journeys
• Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs that effectively communicate design concepts and solutions
• Develop and maintain design systems and style guides
• Conduct usability testing and iterate designs based on user feedback
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and design best practices

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a UI/UX Designer or similar role
• Portfolio of design projects showcasing a strong understanding of user-centered design principles, information architecture, and visual design
• Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, etc.
• Experience with user research and usability testing
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote team environment

Digital Roots Media is seeking a WordPress Developer to join our team on a remote basis. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in developing custom WordPress themes and plugins, as well as experience in troubleshooting WordPress issues and resolving conflicts.

Responsibilities:

• Develop custom WordPress themes and plugins from scratch, as well as modify existing ones
• Work collaboratively with designers, developers, and project managers to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget
• Optimize websites for speed and performance
• Troubleshoot and resolve WordPress issues and conflicts
• Stay up to date with the latest WordPress updates, trends, and best practices

Requirements:

• At least 3 years of experience in WordPress development
• Strong proficiency in PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Experience with Git and version control
• Experience with WooCommerce, Advanced Custom Fields, and other popular WordPress plugins
• Understanding of WordPress security best practices
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
